One Manto Square is a classical mansion house set over 2 floors. The iconic building overlooks the Old Harbour & with its double balcony, balustrades, and shuttered windows. With verandas on all sides, the property has fabulous town and Aegean views to the nearby islands of Tinos & Renia, and is a wonderful place to watch the famous Mykonos sunsets.
History and Renovation
Built in The 19th Century the property has been painstakingly restored over the last 3 years, whilst sympathetic to the original aesthetic, One Manto Square now boasts double glazed windows and internal and external shutters along with new sound proofed roof and floors (essential in the centre of Mykonos Town in the high season), underfloor heating in the bathrooms and kitchen, air conditioned throughout and central heating.
Location
Situated on Manto square on the old harbour in Mykonos town, we are a few minutes walk from everything Mykonos Town has to offer.
The Residences
One Manto square is divided into two levels, connected with an outdoor staircase available to rent separately or as a whole residence.
Deluxe The upper level (approximately 120 sq m)
From the large veranda overlooking Manto Square you enter the upper apartment, you are in the large living/dining room, perfect for entertaining. There is a large kitchen/ cosy TV room at the sunny back of the apartment with a small veranda off it. The en suite master with a king size bed has 3 large double doors opening on to a full length balcony overlooking the whole of the harbour.
The second bedroom has a king size bed and accessed by a few stairs being slightly lower than the rest of the apartment. There is a second bathroom with a steam room/shower.
There is a Roof Top plunge pool (weather permitting)
A kitchen has an Aga style kitchen range and is fully equipped. There is another small veranda and separate entrance to the adjoining living room with a double day bed/sofa.
Cosy The lower level (approximately 45 Sq m)
The self contained lower level mezzanine apartment is entered from a small covered veranda at first floor. The apartment has a full kitchen with a dinning area that convert to a bed for occasional guests. The large bedroom suite has a super king bed and a seating area that can be divided by folding wooden doors to create 2 bedrooms (semi private). There is also a full bathroom available.
